Hello, I have a desktop computer with Windows 10 consisting of a Maximus VIII Hero motherboard, an Intel Core i5-6600K (3.5 GHz) processor, an MSI GeForce GTX 960 GAMING 4G graphics card, 4GB of RAM DDR4 HyperX Fury, Black, 8GB (2*4GB), 2133MHz, CAS 14. Upon starting Windows 10, the American Megatrends motherboard screen freezes, and I get the message "Please enter setup to recover BIOS settings. When RAID configuration was built, ensure to set SATA configuration to mode. Press F1 to run setup." Thank you in advance for your response.

Hello, first of all, I would like to thank you for your availability. My desktop computer is set to AHCI. I had tried to switch it to RAID, and Windows 10 immediately reported that there was a malfunction and a blue screen. For me, the issue comes from the UEFI/BIOS firmware. Thank you in advance.

It is quite possible that the motherboard battery is dead. How old is the motherboard?

A battery costs around 5 euros.

Thank you for your response, but my motherboard is only one year old. I contacted the manufacturer of the Asus Maximus Hero VIII motherboard directly. They advised me to do a clear CMOS, which means resetting my BIOS. That's it!!! Once again, thank you for your availability.
