Hello,
"Unable to use the move tool because the destination layer is hidden" is the message displayed when I enable "Auto-Select" at the top right and click on any layers. Additionally, when I select my layers, they are highlighted in red, and because of this, I can't move them normally; I have to double-click on the layer to be able to move it.

Hello,
the layers are the colors (RGB or CMYK) that make up the image.
In the layers window, they are available through another tab (by default), make sure you haven't accidentally disabled the channels and activate them (by checking them all), which seems to be your case because if you see everything in red, it means only the red channel is activated.
This can be useful for working on one of the hues only, but here I believe it was a manipulation error that caused them to be disabled.
