convert an .mproj file

I made a video edit on Movie Maker with Windows 10, but I can only export it as a .mproj file, and YouTube does not recognize this type of file. I tried a file converter called Wondershare, but it doesn't read this type of file either. What should I do?

Where did you download the version of Movie Maker that you are using?

In any case, this looks like a project and not a video file export. You need to find the export or create a movie button in your software to obtain a video file. The official versions of Movie Maker from Windows do not create this type of file because for WMM 2.6, it is MSWMM and for Windows Live Movie Maker (Movie Maker 2012), it is WLMP.

Hello, I don't know this format, but if you have Movie Maker Essentials 2012, you can export in WMV format specific to Movie Maker. You need to click on the little triangle in the 'Save Movie' box at the top right, and you will have to choose from a list the option that best suits your needs. I believe the container is MPEG4 .mp4, a common file.
