convert Windows Live Movie Maker file to Mp4 format

Hello,  When I edit a video with Windows Live Movie Maker, it saves in the "Windows Live Movie Maker" format. I would like to know if it is possible to convert it to mp4 format. Thank you for your response!

Hello,  If your version is up to date, you should have the option to save your movie in either WMV or MP4 format.  Best regards -- Long live Bobo! ~ Little fish will grow big ~

Hello, I have the same problem, it outputs the videos in wmv. What can I do? Or how to update it, Movie Maker was on the computer when I bought it? I saw in tutorials that you could convert directly to avi and that it compressed the video a lot! Thank you for your help, I'm struggling.

Ah ok great, that’s the response I was waiting for! I have the same model but don’t have the option to change the format. Should I delete the original one (2011) before downloading the model 2012? Best regards and thank you.

Hello, I have the same problem. I followed your advice to update to version 2012, but when I save my movie, nothing changes. It doesn't even offer me an output format (even though I downloaded it). Thank you for your response please.
