Hello, I want to buy this game: GTA 5, but since I'm not very familiar with specifications, I wanted to know if I could run GTA 5 with my setup: Windows 10, Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB RAM. I want to clarify that I have a laptop and I don't have a graphics card. Thank you in advance.

    Hello to you.
ALL PCs have graphics cards, some are more powerful (made for 3D rendering or gaming) and some are less powerful (made for text editing on Word or browsing the internet), depending on the minimum requirements specified on Steam, your graphics card must have at least 1GB of video memory minimum. On Windows 10 in the task manager / Performance / GPU or graphics processor it shows how much memory your graphics card has, in your case to play GTA 5 you need more than 1GB.

To open the task manager, right-click on the taskbar and choose task manager

    With pleasure, Dimiguss.

      Hello,

it says how much memory your graphics card has, in your case to play GTA 5 you need more than 1GB.

However, if I'm following your reasoning, in Windows configuration to allocate 2GB of "VRAM" to an iGPU, I could run GTA 5, while that's not the case, because the chip won't be able to perform rendering calculations fast enough to make it possible...

VRAM is just the second part of the problem; first, the chip needs to be capable of running games. And if it's a laptop, equipped with a Core i5 "U" processor with an iGPU, it is far from being designed and equipped for gaming.

      Hello,
you are absolutely right, I hadn't necessarily thought about that.
Some iGPUs can run games, and let's face it, GTA 5 is starting to get old.
BUT, as you said, if it’s a laptop with a CPU in "U", that’s a different story.
      mmmmmmmmmh....
Thanks to you, it's better to think further ahead than to have unpleasant surprises.
