Hello everyone, I have a big problem with my mouse in Excel only.
I no longer have the pointer but a cross instead, and when I want to drag a formula down to the cells below, it's impossible; I have to copy and paste.
Is there a solution?

Hello.
For the cross, you should first check the mouse settings. But if this only happens with Excel, the problem is probably elsewhere ...
Instead of copy-pasting,
- to copy the content from cell A1 to cell A8,
select A1:A8 and use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+B
- to copy the content from cell A1 to cell A800,
click on A1, scroll down to line 800, hold down the SHIFT key while clicking on A800, and then press ctrl+B

Hello,
in Options / Advanced options / Editing options you must have unchecked 'Cell dragging and dropping'.

By continuously trying, you eventually succeed.
So the more it fails, the more chances you have that it works. (the Shadoks)
In addition to the thank you (yes, yes, it happens!!!), remember to mark it as resolved. Thank you.
