Leboncoin issue ticket Nigloland

Hello,

I’m reaching out because I was scammed via Leboncoin for the purchase of 4 tickets to an amusement park. Beware: the person uses the nickname Paul21 or recently changed to Chris.tag71. He (or she) offers Nigloland tickets at 20€ each. He asks to be paid by bank transfer, but the tickets never arrive, and of course once he has your money there is no reply. Yesterday, by chance, while clicking on his profile in my Leboncoin messages, I found his account and saw that he had posted two ads for the same tickets. I logged in with another Leboncoin account and posed as someone interested… same scam: he asks for a transfer or “regarge PCS” ??? I told him a transfer would be better, but I would still like his name and phone number before he gives them, but when I called the number, the person on the line didn’t know what I was talking about (need number or good actress ??). Anyway I’m disgusted—not only did I lose 80€, but my daughters are very disappointed because there won’t be an amusement park for them. I don’t have the means to buy new tickets… if this post can prevent others from getting scammed and if some people could tell me if I have a chance to see my money again?

Of course I have to go to the police station tomorrow to file a complaint. I have this person's bank details, so there might be a way to trace them—hopefully, but will it work with just one complaint?

Other people in the same situation maybe?

My legal assistant can’t do anything for me because the prejudice doesn’t exceed 150€. Why am I paying for this for years, pfff.

    Le Bon Coin offers online payment directly on the site, which is secure, well... as secure as possible... if you receive nothing the seller is not paid, and you are credited again..
    same goes for PriceMinister (Rakuten)
    Moreover, it should be said again and again, Le Bon Coin is a local sales site! you buy near you, and you go to pick up the item you pay for during the transaction.
    alas everyone knows this, but few apply it! the lure of a good deal is stronger than reason, and it is precisely on this basis that scams proliferate... I hope you will have a remedy!

      Email addresses are automatically removed on CCM to prevent robots from collecting them for spam... In short, it is possible to communicate via private messages by signing up on the site.

      As for the scam itself... there is a high likelihood that it was organized from a country outside French/European jurisdiction... and therefore that remedies/recourse are null...

      Okay... it's a choice...

      But beware of the emails you may receive as a result... the forum is public and scammers can very well write to this address to pretend they can help with this farce... (they will of course request some documents to accomplish this "help"... and maybe even some fees.... also payable in coupons...)

      So be cautious.....
