Problem with XPress 2016: unable to export a file as PDF

Hello,

Everything is in the title.

I transformed 6 XP files into pdf files without any problems and one last small one, in position 3, does not respond when I ask XP to export the layout to pdf. What should I do?

Here's what I have: Impossible to create the file "/Users/guypoursin/Desktop/03.pdf".

Configuration: Macintosh / Firefox 67.0

It seems to me that Xpress creates a log file showing the error during PDF generation... Check if you have it and what error it contains.

The other method is to dissect the document:
If it has several pages, make your PDF for 50 of the document, if it works move to 75% and if it doesn’t, reduce to 25%. This is to find the page that causes a problem.

Once the problematic page is found, remove elements on it until the PDF works...

Possible causes: non-embedded fonts, an altered image,

Okay, thanks, I'll take a look, but I don't understand why this little file and not the others!

I’ve already seen a PDF file imported into Xpress block an export while it printed correctly on its own...

I do indeed have log files, but for the correct ones.
    I’ll keep digging.
    Thanks anyway

the log file should show the pages that pass and stop at the one that blocks

I’ll resume tomorrow morning, because two full days on this problem wear you out a bit!

Thank you for your help and your advice.
I managed it after some "computer acrobatics" (the final file wouldn’t save), but the result is all that matters!
