I know this is widely discussed and shared, but I've been searching and can't find what I'm looking for.
A Windows Seven, no matter the version (Home, Pro, Ultimate) but I want it lightweight, especially in French, 64 bits for memory management. Maybe this post has been made already, I don't know.
It's for an old HP that has its Windows Seven license but has become very slow over time, even after a format.
If you have other suggestions for lightweight Windows, I'm open. Except for throwing it away, and for Linux, the person isn't very wealthy and would be completely lost with Linux.

The activation key of your Windows 7 corresponds to a specific version. This is written on the label. Any version other than the one listed, the activation key will not work, and as a result, troubles expected from Microsoft.
Please provide us with this version in your next response. However, it is becoming increasingly complex to find a legal download of Windows 7 due to the end of technical support in January 2020.

Nothing prevents you from resetting Windows 7 via Recovery and then removing all the software provided by the manufacturer.
