Hello
I am using Windows 7, Excel, Word
I have always had this problem:
when I type FRANCE (or BELGIUM..) in uppercase, Excel and Word automatically correct it and write France (Belgium..)
I went into the program that opens with the button in the top left and then into Excel (or Word) options, Verification tab, and there in the 2 parts Correction options and During correction, I tried: unchecking the boxes: Ignore words in uppercase and Remove the 2nd capital
It didn't change anything
I checked these 2 boxes: still no result!!!
And it's variable depending on the country names!! some stay in uppercase, others do not!!!!!)
How can I fix this little problem?
Thank you
in advance
Best regards

Hello
for Excel, check in options / verification
click on AutoCorrect Options
and see in the list if "replace with" is causing your problem
(that is, in the displayed list, replace FRANCE with France)
in which case, delete the annoying rule
best regards

The quality of the answer mainly depends on the clarity of the question, thank you!

and THANK YOU, that was the solution!!
Indeed, I saw the line
france replaced by France
In fact, I must have wanted to correct the lack of a capital letter at the beginning
Thanks again
Good night if you’re reading this email now
