File or image unable to send via Skype

Hello,
I've been using Skype for quite some time now, and until now, I could send files or photos to my contacts without any problem during conversations...
For the past few days, strangely, every time I try to send a photo or a file, I get a message stating "this photo is not available"
Of course, it is available since I'm selecting it from my PC!!!
As for files... same thing!!!
For the sake of those clever ones who might ask:
- YES we accepted our invitations
- YES we share our information and have access to our profiles
- Finally, YES it was working just a few days ago...
So if anyone has an interesting idea... I'm all ears!!
Oh, a little precision, several times in a few days when I launch Skype, it informs me that it is "improving my Skype" or something like that...
as if it were loading buggy updates!!
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 35.0
