Hello everyone;
I have a problem with my computer, I can no longer run applications or software in administrator mode, I get an error "file system error -1073740791", It's the same error code for any applications/software I try to launch. For example, the game Fortnite, the Teamspeak software, or Nvidia GeForce Experience. (I am indeed on an administrator profile)
What can I do?
Best regards.

Hello,
The file system is corrupted according to the error message.
Try repairing the file system errors:
- Go to File Explorer (Windows Library)
- Right-click on Local Disk C
- Select Properties
- Go to the Tools tab and perform a Check for errors.
The check should occur at the next PC startup.
Another option is to use the chkdsk command; follow the tutorial in this link: https://www.malekal.com/chkdsk-erreur-reparation-disque/
If the problems persist after these steps, we can deduce that the hard drive is physically damaged and needs to be replaced. You can also check its health status using the program Crystal Disk Info (to be installed in English): https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/utilitaires/6735-crystaldiskinfo/
Best regards.-
Hello,
First of all, thank you for your response. I attempted to repair the file system errors as you explained, and it says there are no errors.
I tried to use chkdsk in the command prompt, but it says I don't have access (since I've lost administrative rights), and finally, installing CrystalDiskInfo is also impossible without administrative access.
Should I definitely change the hard drive? -

Good evening,
It seems that the problem is related to an update of the NVIDIA driver.
