You have lost data connectivity because you left roaming on..

Hello everyone,
I have been abroad for three weeks, and I have a Samsung J5 with a foreign SIM card.
For a few days now, I’ve been receiving an error message that says exactly “You have lost data connectivity because you left roaming disabled on your home network.”
I haven't changed anything in the settings on my phone. It’s strange because the roaming option (as well as manual network changes, and network types 3G/4G...) no longer exists on my phone. I can't find them in Settings > Connection... they have disappeared so I cannot activate or deactivate the roaming option. I’ve turned the phone on and off several times and changed the French SIM card multiple times, but I noticed no change.
I also tried other local SIM cards, and the same problem persists.
Do you have any ideas or the same problem?
How is it possible that I receive this message with a local card?
I cannot reset my phone otherwise I will lose everything.

Is it a bug with the Samsung J5 device?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards

      Hello Charidup,
      thank you for your message.
As I explained in my message, the page "connection > mobile networks" no longer exists on my phone. I no longer have access to the options on that page. It used to exist!!!
To be more specific, I bought the SIM card in North India and now I am in South India, and the problem appeared since then (the phone codes for South and North India are different but the internet works across all of India), and the internet is working fine on my friend's iPhone.
      Thank you again.
