Limited Network Connection Warning

Hello,

everyone! I am currently on Windows 8 and I just purchased Microsoft 2013. I then installed my components, such as Word, Excel, etc. However, I have a problem with Outlook 2013! When I log in, I get the following message: limited network connection warning! How can I remove this warning message once and for all? Thank you!

Hello,
I had the same problem and the following solution worked:

- Left-click on the wifi connection icon (near the clock in normal mode)
- Click on "Show connection settings" in the panel that appears.
- In the window that opens:
1. Click on the wifi connection symbol bearing the name of your box
2. In the new panel, you should see the second item (Data usage -> "Set as a metered connection") with the status "Active".
--> Click on the gauge to disable this mode.

Issue resolved.

It seems that Windows declares "public" networks as "Paid" (like "internet cafés" or via limited data phone plans) by default and thus proposes to limit the bandwidth on them as much as possible (to avoid costs or "overages").
If you're at home, this option is of course unnecessary.

Have a nice day.
