Pending customs clearance

I ordered real AirPods on AliExpress for a total of €186. My package has been waiting for customs clearance at Roissy International Mail PIC (93) since January 22, 2019. Today is January 29, 2019, and I still haven't received anything. It has been stuck with customs for 8 days. Here are the details below. If someone could clarify this for me, it’s the first time it’s happening to me and I don’t know if I will receive them or if this waiting time is normal. Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

    The customs are overwhelmed. You just have to wait.
    As for the claim of their authenticity, you'll only see that upon unpacking, especially if it's from Aliexpress...

      Thank you for your quick response. When I bought these AirPods, I saw positive comments from people who bought the same ones as me. They are indeed original Apple products, which is why I bought them with my eyes closed. Anyway, I paid through PayPal. What worries me is the 8 days on hold.

      Positive comments coming from completely unknown individuals should be taken with a grain of salt.. 'Influencers' do exist!

      If the AirPods are recognized as 'counterfeit' by Customs, they will be destroyed without you being informed.. This is in case of a check, of course..

      Thank you for your comment. Waiting for customs clearance does not mean, if I understood your comment correctly, that you will necessarily check it.

      @thierry1_9353Waiting for customs clearance means that customs must "validate" the passage of the package and may possibly claim fees. If there are counterfeits, the package can be destroyed... however, as already mentioned.

      Ok, thank you for all the clear answers you have given me. I hope they will approve the passage without imposing additional fees since I paid 186 € for them. I would have bought my Apple products in France, but they were out of stock at home, that’s why I bought them on AliExpress. And I hope, to top it all off, that they are not a counterfeit.
