Broken HDMI port

Good evening everyone,

Having caught my foot in the HDMI cable of my PS4, I have ripped the port out of it (so no more video output, but everything else is working fine). Not very lucky for me, but I can't be the only one this has happened to... Given that I bought it second-hand, any repair costs will be my responsibility.

Could someone please tell me how much the repair should cost?? I had already been considering upgrading to the Pro for a while, so I just want to know if it's worth it.

    Hello,

    If it's just the HDMI output that needs to be replaced, it's a part that costs between €5 and €10.

    If the repair is done by a professional, you should expect to pay around €50 to €100. Generally, these are flat rates.
