Hello,
Since this morning, my PC has been stuck on the Asus welcome screen.
A red LED is continuously lit (the computer is off..) and refuses to turn off, blocking my startup.
My motherboard is an Asus z97 pro, I have a Gygabite 750tioc graphics card, an Intel i5, a 600w cooler master power supply, 16GB of RAM, and 4/5 hard drives.
This happened all of a sudden, and the only maintenance that could have affected the PC, in my opinion, was the moment I reapplied thermal paste, a week ago, but everything was working fine until this morning.

It seems like a failing power supply (see here or here)
All that’s left is to go checkout :'-) If you have a spare power supply, you can try swapping it out to see if it makes a difference, just to reassure yourself
At least, the only posts discussing this problem all point to a hardware issue, either the motherboard or the power supply, with a strong tendency towards the power supply
