Hello

to replace my old TV (from 2010) with an Astrell decoder and an OPTEX satellite dish.
I will be receiving a PHILIPS 55 PSU 7503 TV this Monday.
My question is whether I can connect the satellite dish directly to the new TV
or do I need to keep the decoder (and continue using 2 remote controls).
Thank you for your help.

    Good evening,

This TV has a satellite decoder... so you should be able to connect your satellite dish directly...

You will be able to receive the same channels as before... you will need to find the place to insert your decoding card, for example, for Canal... otherwise, you will only receive the unencrypted channels...

thank you for this quick response
I am mainly looking to receive only the traditional channels (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and Arte)
thank you, so by the middle of next week I will be able to know if it works

      OK,

attention: on satellite, even channels 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, etc. are encrypted... So you need a card for decryption..

whatever programs are targeted, it's either a dish oriented at 19.2° East or 5° West for the Fransat system.
