re
ok, since you have a Wifi Adapter, I assume that your PC is a desktop (tower)
do this:
in Cortana, type CMD
in the search result, right-click on CMD >> run as administrator
in the window that opens, type these commands one by one and click ENTER after each command
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset
netsh winhttp reset proxy
netsh winhttp reset tracing
netsh winsock reset catalog
netsh int ip reset all
netsh int ipv4 reset catalog
netsh int ipv6 reset catalog
when that's done, restart the PC and see what happens

re
No, it's not working...
this is bad...
since you don't have any alerts in the device manager, and I've given you the latest driver for W10 for your adapter...
the link to the page >> http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=USB%5CVID_0BDA%26PID_8178%26REV_0200
I don't really see how to solve your problem...
do this again:
close all your running programs
start the command prompt as an administrator (right-click)
in the window that opens, type SFC /SCANNOW and press ENTER
WARNING: there is 1 space between SFC and /
let the PC work (about 20 minutes)
at the end of the scan, check if it found/fixed any system files
