WiFi key disconnects after a few minutes

Question

Hello, since a Windows update, my Wi-Fi key keeps disconnecting constantly! When I run the troubleshooting, I am told every time "default gateway is not available" then it resets the network card and voila, the connection comes back for a few minutes then goes away again. The drivers for the key are up to date even though the software (small CD) does not work with Windows 10. Can you help me?

Hello, it's the same for me on W7 for a week now when everything was fine! I think it could be the mixture of waves that might disrupt the wifi (microwave, phone/smartphone, digital terrestrial television, radio, ...)  -- Forum users are not fortune tellers, at least I'm not!

USB\VID_0BDA&PID_8178&REV_0200 or: USB\VID_0BDA&PID_8178 I suppose that's what you're asking me for; otherwise, the wifi key is a TP-Link Model TL-WN823N.

re  check the version of your Wifi Adapter (V1/V2/V3)  on this page, you have the driver for W10 for version V2 and V3 >> https://www.tp-link.com/fr/support/download/tl-wn823n/#Driver  download it to your desktop and unzip it with 7zip (for example)  the link >> https://www.7-zip.org/  PS: take the one corresponding to your PC (32 or 64 bits) >> https://www.commentcamarche.net/informatique/windows/169-32-bits-ou-64-bits-comment-savoir/  once done, open the unzipped folder and run SETUP.EXE as administrator (right click)  if you have any questions...  ========================  @ tyranausor  do the same thing and let me know how it goes (if your Adapter is the same)  @+

It says version 1.2 so V1 anyway, right? But how is it that everything was fine before a Windows update? I've been on Windows 10 for quite a while and it was working perfectly well.

(1803 or 1809)  Click on the Windows+R keys  In the window that opens, type WINVER and click OK  @+  -- The radiation level is higher at the employment center than at Chernobyl.

re  ok, since you have a Wifi Adapter, I assume that your PC is a desktop (tower)  do this:  in Cortana, type CMD  in the search result, right-click on CMD >> run as administrator  in the window that opens, type these commands one by one and click ENTER after each command  ipconfig /flushdns netsh winsock reset netsh winhttp reset proxy netsh winhttp reset tracing netsh winsock reset catalog netsh int ip reset all netsh int ipv4 reset catalog netsh int ipv6 reset catalog  when that's done, restart the PC and see what happens  @+  -- the radiation level is higher at the employment office than at Chernobyl
