check the version of your Wifi Adapter (V1/V2/V3)

on this page, you have the driver for W10 for version V2 and V3 >> https://www.tp-link.com/fr/support/download/tl-wn823n/#Driver

download it to your desktop and unzip it with 7zip (for example)

the link >> https://www.7-zip.org/

PS: take the one corresponding to your PC (32 or 64 bits) >> https://www.commentcamarche.net/informatique/windows/169-32-bits-ou-64-bits-comment-savoir/

once done, open the unzipped folder and run SETUP.EXE as administrator (right click)

It says version 1.2 so V1 anyway, right?
But how is it that everything was fine before a Windows update? I've been on Windows 10 for quite a while and it was working perfectly well.

Select --> 7Zip
Choose --> extract to "20782674_ef6aecb6b9d93335fa681013b12000254deca2de\"

Go to the device manager.
Right-click on the device >> Realtek RTL8192CU ....
Update driver
Browse my computer ......
Choose from a list of drivers...
Have disk
Browse
Go to your documents
Go to the unzipped driver folder --> 20782674_ef6aecb6b9d93335fa681013b12000254deca2de
Select the file --> netrtwlanu.inf and OK
Restart

so you just selected the CAB folder

repeat the process by selecting the file >> netrtwlanu.inf
