Hello,
I have a devolo dlan 500 duo + that has been working like a charm for years, and recently, it's no longer transmitting. The master PLC is constantly flashing green; can someone tell me what's going on and how I can use it again?

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 64.0

I plugged the master directly into the socket and it continues to blink green.

    Thank you.

    Hi,
    have you tried re-pairing them?
First on a power strip, then see if you can put them back in place, or try them in other outlets.
Either one of them is faulty, or your electrical installation is interfered with by stray signals.

    Hi,

thank you for your response, but I'm not very good with computers. What does re-pairing mean and, more importantly, how do I do it?
    Thank you.

Not being good with computers doesn't prevent you from reading the manufacturer's documentation, quite the opposite.
To unpair: press and hold the button on each for about 10 seconds.
      To pair:
connect both to a power strip (it's easier) and press and hold the button on each for about 2 seconds within a short timeframe (less than 1 minute).
      See if they sync up.

      Hello,
I tried what you told me and the master keeps blinking green.

      On a a power strip?
What you call the master, is it the one usually on the box side?
On the other one, is the house indicator light off?
Do you have a micro reset button (to be pressed with a point, in a small hole)?

On the master connected to the box, it's a micro push-button, and on the other one, it's a small hole.

I called Devolo and actually, I had to plug the master and the other PLC into different electrical outlets in the same room, then press the push button on the master for less than a second; it turns solid green, then do the same on the other PLC and wait for 2 minutes. Then, both reconnect and become solid green, and that's it.

      Thank you, Brupala.

    HELLO,

I actually no longer have the manual, I lost it during a move. Thanks anyway for the response, I'll keep you posted on the re-pairing.
