Display issue with Messenger message content on lock screen

Hello,
For a few days now, when I receive messages on Messenger, I can no longer read the beginning of the message on my locked screen: It shows "X sent a message."
I've already checked the settings, notifications, but everything is enabled... I've restarted my iPhone and nothing has changed as well.
Is this a new update for Messenger?
Do you know how to solve this problem?
Thank you very much in advance.

Configuration: iPhone / Safari 10.0

    Hello,

Go to Settings > Messenger > Notifications.

Under "Options", choose Show Previews and select Always.

      Hello,
      Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately, when I go to "Settings" then "Notifications" then "Messenger" (I can't do as you told me Settings --> Messenger --> Notifications because there is no line mentioning Messenger in the Settings menu), I don't see any place where "Options" or "Show Previews" is indicated.

I have an iPhone 6 that is 4 years old, I haven't updated it in at least a year (because my storage space is insufficient), could it be that this is why those display options do not appear?

Yes, it may be possible. Try updating your iPhone.

If the storage space is full to install the update, proceed with the installation via iTunes.
