Hello, I bought this used landline phone for the house but I can't get it to work? The seller did confirm that it was compatible with my box (Bouygues ADSL).
There is a tiny installation CD in the packaging that doesn't fit my drive? So please, could someone help me? Thanks in advance. Is it possible that I got ripped off and that this phone only works on Skype? And even that... Best regards.
P.S. The seller informed me that this phone is a hybrid?

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 70.0.3538.102

    Hello,

You will find below the manual reference, in case you don't have it:

    http://www2.produktinfo.conrad.com/datenblaetter/900000-924999/922504-an-01-fr-VOIP_TELEFON_TOPCOM_BUTLER_4012_USB.pdf

The term hybrid means that you have two modes, via the telephone line from the box using radio connection (DECT) and via Skype (free connection worldwide).

You need to connect the base to the phone jack of your box.

As for the CD-ROM, it is the 80 mm format instead of 120 mm. It can only be used in tray-type players and is therefore incompatible with diskette-type readers (if that term is still understood). If you are in this situation, it should be possible to copy the content of the mini-CD to a USB stick using another PC. But we are not there yet.

So just place the mini-CD in the middle of the tray. The installation is done like for all programs and allows pairing with the PC for Skype. Provided you are on Windows because I saw you mention Ubuntu in another post.

Only connect the phone after installation.
