Gmail impossible without a phone number

Hello,

I have tried for hours to create a Gmail account and it's impossible for me without a number.
I am stuck on this.
I read everywhere that it is optional and that it should be done on a PC, but I can't do it.

    Unsuccessful results.

      Sometimes, Google may ask you to provide a phone number to verify that it's a real person and not a robot trying to create an account.

      This may happen if:
      - You have recently created several accounts.
      - Google thinks the traffic is generated by a bot.

      In this case, you can either proceed to verify your phone number, or create an account from another device or a different network connection.

      It's forced tracking, falsely related to security, which is illegal but that the government allows Google to do. I create Gmail accounts every 4 months, and I'm asked for a phone number after 4 months, but not when creating the account. So I change it every 4 months. Google is just a bunch of pirates disguised as an email service. Avoid Gmail; there are plenty of others that are much better and less thieving of your information!
