How to lock the screen during a call?

Hello everyone.

I just got a Xiaomi Redmi 6 with Oreo 8.1

During a call, my cheek touches the screen and of course it cuts the microphone, opens the calendar, etc.

How can I lock this screen?

I have looked online but apart from issues with the proximity sensor that works, I haven't found anything.

I don't have a menu with the call button, so there's no option.

    Hello.

    Yes, indeed. It's against the ear, but considering the size of the phones, they still touch my cheek.
