Hello,
I have the following problem (see attached photo)
I receive this warning message with Thunderbird:
"You are bypassing how Thunderbird identifies this site"
This message worries me because I recently had my Facebook account hacked.
I have deleted the hacked email address from my provider.
I mention this because I doubt there is a connection, but you never know..
Am I still being hacked on my other addresses?

Hi,  Do you happen to have AVAST?  It’s true that your image is unreadable. If there’s no way to get a larger format, just take a photo of it!  Thanks

try to recreate the cert8.db file
although for Firefox, it's the same for Thunderbird
look there https://support.mozilla.org/fr/kb/que-signifie-votre-connexion-nest-pas-securisee
go to Corrupted certificate storage

go to Help/? -> Troubleshooting Information -> Profile folder -> Open the corresponding folder
rename the file cert8.db to xxxcert8.db and restart Thunderbird
cert8.db will be recreated

I think it's the one causing the problem.

Hi,
it seems that the problem has been resolved for two days.
I followed dubcek's instructions (renaming the cert 9 file) but without immediate success.
After restarting the PC, it seems to be working.
Could that have been it?

Hello,
I also had this problem with a Gmail address.
As an Avast user, I found the solution through this link at Avast: https://support.avast.com/en-us/article/91/#artTitle
Just to clarify: I had to delete the existing Avast certificate and replace it with the one I had exported.
Hopefully, this will help other users...

I think it's related to one of my email addresses that was hacked. I've changed all my passwords, re-installed everything, and the problem is gone.
