Connect a Bluetooth speaker to my TV

Hello,
I'm trying to connect my Bose SoundLink Bluetooth speaker to my Samsung TV le26a457c1d;
I'm using the headphone jack output from the TV which I connect to the speaker with a jack cable, but no sound is coming out! While the headphones connected to the TV work fine...

    SoundLink Mini II - SoundLink Colour or colour ll - SoundLink Revolve Bluetooth - SoundLink Revolve+ Bluetooth - SoundLink Micro - Bluetooth® SoundLink® II

    In general, there should be a procedure to select the jack input ("Aux")

      Thank you for your response! This is a SoundLink II
      I have indeed switched to AUX, and the connection seems to be working because it "buzzes" when I turn the volume all the way up, but it's not the sound from the TV...

      what is your 3.5mm jack / 3.5mm jack cable like?
      2 poles, 3 poles?
