Hello.

Does he have the right to refuse a child from playing sports?

The coach is not a recreational leader or even a sports animator. His mission is to train the team entrusted to him and lead them to victory.
He did not refuse the child the right to play sports; he simply did not admit him to his team; that's all!
It is absolutely out of the question to force him to accept everyone who wants to let off steam! After all, there are only 11 players on the field; the total team size cannot be expanded at will.

You simply need to enroll the kid in a football school, whether municipal, school-based, or community-oriented. When he can play properly, he can try again to join a team.

Would you accept someone who cannot play an instrument into your orchestra? You would ask them to first take lessons, with a music teacher or at a conservatory, before participating in your orchestra, wouldn’t you?

And can we file a complaint?
File a complaint for what offense? What law has the coach broken?

Hello to you

As it is an association, I find it logical that the person in question has the right to accept or refuse whoever they want, even if personally I find it shameful to refuse someone because of their level, but this remains my personal opinion.
It's possible that I'm wrong, but it seems logical to me.

It might be logical, I still have a child who needs to let off steam, but I find it a shame that it would just take teaching him. Anyway.
