Green dots on messenger contacts

Hello,

can someone tell me what these green dots on the photos in the Messenger contact list on Android phones really mean?

- green dot?
- no dot?
- green and white dot (half-filled)?

Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 11.1.2

    Hello,

    A green dot indicates that the person in question is CURRENTLY online.

    No dot means that the person is currently not there (not online) or that they have not added you as a friend.

    A green and white dot means that the person was recently online but is no longer (online less than an hour ago. After an hour of inactivity, the dot disappears).

      You always have the time on Android, but it doesn't necessarily display it; it's quite bugged to be honest. You'll have the time depending on the person; there's not really any explanation.

      ok I don't know all of this yet !!!

      we're talking about a half-empty circle (like a crescent moon), right? Not a green circle around and white inside?? Because I've seen that too and I don't know that either ....
