Does anyone know if it's possible to permanently remove the ads from the Messenger app (on iPhone)?

To my knowledge... no. They are also available on the Android version.

On Facebook, if I clean up the advertising data permissions, it takes a few weeks before it comes back... but on Messenger (since the last update), it lasted 24 hours, not even... o.O
