I can't figure out how to add dashes in Excel.

Hello, I would like to know how to add dashes before words in a merged cell in Excel  Configuration: Windows / Chrome 68.0.3440.106

Hello,  There is probably a cell format issue; try changing the cell format to "text," that should work.  Have a nice day!

Hello,  Excel is an accounting software and the dash, as you say, is equivalent to minus -  so "-a word" returns an error message  so either you enter an apostrophe before the dash, for example '-your word  or you actually format your cell as text A+ Mike-31  I am responsible for what I say, not for what you understand...
