Catch channels without an outdoor antenna

Solved

Hello everyone, I recently arrived at a student room and unfortunately, I don't have a socket for the TV antenna.

So, I bought a Tercera indoor antenna from Metronic but apparently, it requires an outdoor antenna socket to connect to it.

Is it possible to pick up French channels without resorting to an outdoor antenna?

Thank you very much
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 2.0.0.6

Simply use a fork to make contact between the edge and the middle of the antenna socket on your TV... you will have channels 1, 2, 3.

Thank you for your response first of all :)

But having bought an indoor antenna, I was hoping it would at least work without needing an outdoor one, especially since I don’t have any wall outlets at all.
Isn’t the purpose of an indoor antenna to allow receiving channels without the need for an outdoor antenna?

      Thank you very much

Daniel, it's a bit late to respond to you, but once your antenna is hooked up to your receiver, if you want it to work coming from a different geographic area, you now need to reset the installation of your television, which must now pick up the frequencies of the location you are in, and they are undoubtedly not the same as the previous ones, of course.

your fork won’t do any better than an indoor antenna!
