OSD Lockout cannot be removed

Hello,
I apologize for this post, but I can't find any solution to my problem.
I have an HP Compaq LA2006x monitor and I constantly see the message "OSD Lockout" displayed on the screen.
I then looked into it and found this solution: press and hold the menu button on the monitor for 10 seconds.
However, for me, doing this brings up the OSD (even though it is supposed to be locked), and when I exit, the message reappears.
In addition, my buttons seem to be unresponsive. Let me explain: when the OSD appears, the menu button seems to replace all the other buttons, so when I press it, it confirms a selection; when it's a measurement, it reduces it, and holding the button in a menu allows me to navigate through it. The "+" and "OK" buttons do nothing, and the "-" button seems only to quickly navigate to "Exit".
I also tried turning off the monitor and pressing the menu button, but it doesn't change anything...
I can't find a solution, it's frustrating. :(
