Driver search

Question

Hello, I have a problem with my Acer Aspire x1800; for a week now I haven't been able to connect it to the internet... It's connected via a Wireless Airlink 101 AWLL6075, unfortunately for me, I think the key is no longer working, but it would be strange for it to just stop suddenly. Before you tell me it's finished, I'd like to try something. I can no longer see my network connections, and when I try to find a solution, the PC tells me "the local area connection card is experiencing driver or hardware issues." Also, the wireless USB key is not recognized, and it shows "USB unknown" as well as "the driver could not be installed." I've searched, but the internet hasn't helped me, so I'm turning to you! Thank you very much!

Hello,  Go to Device Manager Give the hardware IDs of the problematic devices. Look at this --> Find a device's identification number Post the IDs in your next message.  What do you have in network adapters?  --> Windows 7, 8 or 10? --> 32 or 64 bits?

Download and install --> 7Zip 64 bits  Download this driver -->  Wireless  Right-click on --> RTL819xCU....zip Select --> 7Zip Choose --> extract to "RTL819xCU....\"  Go to Device Manager Right-click on the device --> 802.11n WLAN Adapter Update driver Search for a driver on my computer Choose from a list of drivers... Have disk Browse Go to the unzipped driver folder --> RTL819xCU.... Folder --> (BV5)RTLWlanU_..... Folder --> RTWLANU_Driver Folder --> Win7X64 Select the file --> netrtwlanu.inf and OK. hi  Unfortunately for me it doesn't work anymore today... I turned it back on and this morning nothing at all. I don't understand anything, it's frustrating. The computer doesn't even show me RTL 800 in... No matter how much I reinstall the driver it doesn't work any better... So it's impossible to look for the last driver that solved the issue.   Have you tried reinstalling the .INF driver file >> net8192su.inf?  @+  -- the radiation level is higher at the unemployment office than at Chernobyl

Hello,  My problem is that the computer does not recognize the USB key and therefore does not recognize RTL8812...USB2.0 This means that I cannot ask it to update the driver since it can't see it and I can't access it. I bought another wireless USB key thinking that my previous one was dead. But apparently, it's my PC that doesn't want to cooperate! I have the same problem with the other key even though I have the corresponding driver.

re  to see what's going on with your PC, do this:  download FRST from (Fabar) to your desktop  https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/farbar-recovery-scan-tool/  PS: take the one that corresponds to your PC (32 or 64 bits)  https://www.commentcamarche.net/informatique/windows/169-32-bits-ou-64-bits-comment-savoir/  run it as administrator (right click)  at the end of the scan, the FRST and ADDITION reports will appear on your desktop and in C:\FRST\LOG  post the reports via cjoint  https://www.commentcamarche.net/faq/29493-utiliser-cjoint-pour-heberger-des-fichiers  PS: I can't guarantee that I will read the reports tonight  @+  -- the radiation level is higher at the employment office than at Chernobyl

Thank you, I will do what you told me.  I think it's reaching the end of its life, it gave me a blue screen error and doesn't want to reboot. This is getting ridiculous haha.

re  if you have another PC handy, download FRST on the other PC and put it on a USB stick   then, transfer it to the PC that's giving you trouble, and run it in safe mode  PS: why did you mark the topic as resolved?  if you have any questions....  @+

hello  I changed the topic status :)  I don't have any ethernet cable, that's why it's wireless.  It's freely available (you can even find it in supermarkets), and it costs about 1 Euro per meter :)  Keep us updated on the manipulations you're doing and what the results are  @+  -- the radiation level is higher at the employment office than at Chernobyl

when the text is copied/pasted, click on "file">>"save as" and choose "desktop" from the left column

at the bottom of the page, in "file name", type fixlist.txt and click on "save"

run FRST and click on "fix"

when the fix is complete, a text file will appear on your desktop, copy/paste the result in your next reply

Go to start
All programs
Accessories
Right-click on --> command prompt
Choose --> run as administrator and confirm
Type --> sfc /scannow and press enter.

A system file check will take place.
