Hello, I formatted my computer yesterday to reinstall a version of Windows 7 instead of 10.
Everything has been working since except for my network card, I've tried quite a few things:
installing the drivers from the various official supplier sites, but nothing works.. any help? :/

hi
give me the brand and model of your pc, and whether it's 32 or 64 bits?

Re
it's a wifi adapter that you installed on a desktop PC
download this driver to your desktop click here
it's a zipped file, you need to unzip it with 7zip (for example)
link >> https://www.7-zip.org/
PS: take the 64 bits for your PC
open the unzipped file and run the SETUP.EXE as administrator (right-click)
if you need the driver for wired connection (Ethernet) click here
let me know how it goes

re
is your adapter not properly inserted in its slot?
check this page to see if it’s the same >> https://www.tp-link.com/fr/support/download/tl-wn951n/#Driver
can’t you connect via Ethernet (cable)?
would reinstalling Windows 10 and wiping out 7 fix my driver problem or not at all?
I don’t see a driver for W10 for this adapter...

re
If I understand correctly, it's not* the dev id .exe that you need to download.
If it's the dev id.exe that you need to download
then you have to unzip it and follow the instructions in this message from Kaneagle to reach the file >> netathwx.inf and click on OK

re
I don't have a zip file, it's just an .exe which ultimately tells me error device not found
You have to right-click on it and choose 7zip >> extract to...
