Hello,
What is the model of this Panasonic television?
--Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there... -
Panasonic Viera model TX L42ET60E LED 3D.
I have properly connected the audio jack to the indicated spot. No sound cut out and I can't hear anything in the headphones.
I went into the menu - sound - headphones (sound from the headphones) and increased it but nothing happens. -
Hello,
Have you properly plugged in the headphone jack? And set the television volume to a medium level, as indicated in the manual on page 23
Excerpt :
The manual: https://www.boulanger.com/ecommerce/notices/3/5025232709083_n_0.pdf
Is the headphone transmitter powered on... is the battery in place and charged, and have you turned the knob on the headphone to switch it on and adjust the volume?

I did as you instructed. I have no listening problems on another television.
When I use headphones, I turned up the volume. Nothing happens. Thank you also for the manual. -
I did as you instructed. If I don’t mute my TV remote, I can’t hear a show in the headset. Indeed, I had tested without muting the sound.

Thank you, I will keep you updated if I find the solution.

I don't have the evolution decoder. It's the classic decoder and there is indeed an audio output. I tried but it didn't work. I'm wondering if this problem might be coming from the jack input on my TV.

Phew, I finally succeeded thanks to you. I clicked on mute to turn off the sound of my remote control.
Thank you
Just in case, is it possible that the person without the headset can hear the television? -

????
The decoder's remote control has been paired with the television ??
Finally, I’m giving you another option that involves using the optical outputs (TV or decoder).
You would need to acquire a DAC (digital-to-analog converter) like: https://www.amazon.fr/Convertisseur-Num%C3%A9rique-Analogique-Optique-Coaxial/dp/B06XTL4HY4/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1526561500&sr=1-4

another box, more wires? What’s the difference between analog and digital?
-
Not really any difference since using a converter, except that the optical output would be used... and there we could hear in the headset without muting the TV sound.
Note... I admit, however, that I do not understand why the TV remote interferes with the decoder..
We should check if the decoder turned off mutes the TV, then when turning the decoder back on, if the headset works or not.

I reviewed how to connect my headset to audio on my decoder. Indeed, I don't need to mute the sound on my TV remote. The sound remains on both, and if I want to listen to it alone, I click the mute button on my SFR remote.
