Hello everyone!
I've been having a problem with Ccleaner since the last update a couple of days ago. This has never happened to me in the years I've been using it without any issues.
The scan runs normally, but at the end, when I click the "clean" button, Ccleaner closes without performing the cleanup.
Does anyone have any ideas?
(Of course, I've already uninstalled and reinstalled it, but to no avail...).
Thank you.

Hello,
I will try to reinstall the previous version that was working correctly.-
Hello Szami,
And thank you for your reply.
I will try to do it, even though I’m not sure how to find the old versions of Ccleaner.
But something is puzzling me: my partner has Ccleaner on another PC, and it continues to work normally.
On the other hand, there was, almost at the same time as the Cc update, a Windows 10 update: "Windows Module Installer," which has not (yet?) taken place on my partner's PC.
However, when I manually searched my PC for files like Windows Store Bing News - which are usually cleaned by Cc - and tried to delete them manually, Windows responded that it was impossible, that they are system files, etc., and that I need to go through a whole bunch of manipulations to make them deletable.
Whereas on my partner's PC (which therefore has not received the latest Windows 10 update), these files, as well as others (system, temporary files, etc.) can be cleaned manually without any blockage and without warning messages.
So I wonder if it’s not the latest Windows 10 update that’s at fault, not the Ccleaner update.
Isn’t Windows trying to put a spoke in Cc’s wheel because it doesn’t like us cleaning its many tracking systems?
I will try to restore to the last checkpoint to see if my interpretation holds up.
I’ll keep you posted.
Best regards

Hello Szami,
You were right!
I restored the previous version of Cc - very easy on the Cc site:
https://ccleaner.fr.uptodown.com/windows/versions
and it's working properly again.
The issue is therefore resolved.
However, what I don't understand is why the new version of Cc works on my partner's computer but not on mine. Is there any truth to the theory above (since my partner hasn't received the latest Windows 10 update)?
We'll have to check when she gets it...
Best regards, and thank you.
