    Hello,

Is this about angle measurements? More specifically, switching from the display in grads to the display in degrees?

If that's the case, you need to press the mode button and select the angle unit.

Don't forget to mark your message as "resolved" if I answered your question.

Thank you for your response, but I'm looking to convert from base 100 to 60 for time (hours). Thank you in advance.

      Ok !

I think I understand your problem: you want to convert from decimal notation to h, min, s notation. For example, display 1h 30 min instead of 1.5 h.

Actually, there is nothing provided on the TI 82 for displaying time. But that’s okay, it works just like for angles.

Let me explain with an example: converting 2.53 h into h min s.

      1) you start by writing 2.53
      2) you press 2nd (blue button) angle (MATRX button)
      3) in the menu, you choose 4 (DMS conversion)
      4) then you press ENTER

      and the result displays: 2 ° 31' 48 "
      which you translate to 2 h 31 min 48 s

      That’s it!

      Quickly, the inverse operation:
This time we enter into the calculator: 2'31'48'
Careful! I didn’t make a mistake: it’s indeed ' three times in a row; (which you do by taking the ' symbol from the 2nd ANGLE menu as before.)
And then you press ENTER to get the result.
