Hello, I wanted to know if anyone has ever tried USB Killer and then had the warranty work, I’m thinking about doing it on a PS4. If a specialist could shed light on the traces left or if the service can detect this kind of manipulation, thanks in advance.

    Hello,

The customer service may notice it, there are even cases of warranty exclusion planned in the T&Cs...

Oh really, how do you think they’ll see it?

How? Because the principle is to store an electrical charge and release it to create a short circuit. A short circuit, which inevitably causes burns to the hardware. So, after its use, it’s easy to notice where the problem came from, since the USB ports will be fried, literally. This is directly excluded from the warranty, because you are responsible for what you plug into the USB ports. It’s not wear and tear, but intentional in that case, and it isn’t covered by the warranty.
