Hello,
Here I have two native USB DDR mats. I can configure the keys and everything, but during use, when I need to press two arrow keys at the same time, it doesn’t work! I’ve searched for a solution on several forums, but I can’t find it; the topics mainly deal with USB adapter issues.
Do you have a solution?
Thank you.
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 2.0.0.12

Indeed, I have the same problem!
In fact, it bugs when it is necessary to use 2 arrows on the same axis, according to the paddle "Right + Left = Center"
A solution would be to configure the keyboard/touchpad inputs as simple buttons (controller with X buttons) but it auto-configures as Joystick, that is: Axis X, Axis Y, 4 buttons
Another solution is to not use the arrows..... but the gameplay will suffer .....
If anyone masters the configurations under Windows ..., I’m also interested THANKS -
I have exactly the same problem, and I think we have to change the adapter, u_u.
but if you find a solution, please keep me informed, please^^

Hello,
Exactly the same problem... It’s frustrating because the site where I ordered says the mat is compatible with PC... But with this setup, that’s not true!!
Maybe there is a solution by modifying the wiring inside the mat’s housing? For example, could we reverse the wire from a button with that of an axis... But we still need to be sure there is one wire per button, and above all, one wire per arrow (and not one wire per axis).
If you have any info, I’m all ears!!
See you later -
Personally, I managed to change the buttons by cutting the back of my mat, I cut the circuits for the left and bottom arrows and for two buttons (triangle and square, for example) and I connected the arrow circuits to the button circuits with a copper wire and soldering, and it works perfectly. The problem is that it’s a bit crude as a method and I’m not sure it will work with all mats (mine was an official Konami mat, the basics).
Anyway tonight I’ll try by dismantling the housing of a GameCube mat to put it on a PS2 ^^ -
Hello,
given that I also have this problem since I bought last week an original USB dance mat and a cheap one, I tried to look all over the internet (or almost) and concluding that this kind of problem will never be solved because most people buy a dance mat for a console with an additional adapter, I managed to find a not-so-great solution and perhaps already thought about by others. So this solution is the following: tilt the mat at 45° and use the buttons in the corners (black and white for my mat) voila.
But I hope to see another solution.
Have a good day everyone
