Hello, I'm trying to download all the episodes of "Grand cactus" (Belgium) for my dad. It worked with VSO downloader but it has become paid. I also had Video Download Capture but it only has a 15-day trial and then it's paid. Does anyone have an idea to avoid paying for software? Thank you in advance for your replies! Hello,
It is quite easy to download Auvio videos
....
Open the video (with Google Chrome)
Go to the black area on the right
Right-click & choose "view page source"
Look for a URL ending with MP4 (here on line 415)
Copy this URL from "http" & open it in a new window
There is the video; click the down arrow (bottom right corner of the screen) & the mp4 file is on the PC

For the past few days, RTBF has changed its protection system. Personally, I was using Bigasoft Video Downloader. It no longer bypasses the new protection. Anyway, I'm also looking for a new solution.

Have you tried Captvty? I haven't tried it recently but it should adapt quickly if it's no longer compatible.

Try using Captvty. In principle, it is able to retrieve the streams from Auvio.

By looking under the "RTBF.be" tab -> you select "Entertainment" at the top and you will be able to obtain from the list of episodes, as I just checked.

Judge_DT you are a genius!!! I tried last night and it's great, my dad is thrilled!!! I'm going to bother you again (but I assure you I'm more bothered doing all this, but hey, I'm making my dad happy), I know I can have the shows until 02.03.2017. And my dad, very picky, wants them starting from September 2016. With your superpowers, wouldn't you have a program for me to "capture" those shows with a free software? If you have the links to the relevant shows, you can try using Captvty's manual mode through the very first tab in the list.

Captvty and JDownloader aren't working either. There are ways to download all the segments of a movie using Video DownloadHelper (an add-on for Firefox, Chrome...) and then assemble all the segments, but it's very complex.

So, geek search for a solution...

Good evening,
I also have this problem. For years I was able to record with my IDM program; it was enough to display the show and click on "download this video file" and indicate where we wanted it to be saved... it still works on some sites but, for example, I want to record "it's not every day Sunday" on RTL replay and it gives me the video in dozens of small files... only the advertisements are recorded normally.... This is not about piracy at all: it's just that I want to be able to watch the show later (and then delete it) because the shows to be replayed are not always available for long. In any case, some time ago it was still possible. Is it the TV channel that is preventing this or is the IDM program no longer suitable? Does anyone have an answer? Thank you in advance.

This is called the right to private copying. Downloading a file for personal and private purposes, particularly for later viewing, is not illegal. Moreover, Belgian law is relatively different on this point compared to France. ;-)

Finally, the specific conditions are toward another site, not just that private use is allowed, as it is the tolerated exception.
