Hello, I have a problem with my SD card that works fine on my phone. However, I am unable to access it from my PC. When I insert it into the PC, it prompts me to format it. I can't open it to access the content to transfer it to the PC.
Can someone help me?
Best regards.

    Hi,

Your card is probably formatted in ExFAT since it's over 32GB.

    I found this: https://web.archive.org/web/20141017013355/http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=19364

Maybe this can help you get the ExFAT format recognized.

To complete Fabul, a salesperson had recommended me a 64GB card for a Panasonic camera, but he had to take it back because the latter did not accept cards larger than 32GB.

I have an old PC from 2006 that I use for my old games on XP, and I wonder if my C partition is only 32GB... it still impresses me.

If you format in NTFS instead of FAT32 (XP can), you can go up to 2TB.

Where can I find that? It's only in the "exfat" file system.

    Hello

Do you use a built-in card reader on the PC or an external card reader, or are you connected via USB?

I tried with the integrator and with a card reader. The result is the same.

I looked, which version should I download? I tried the first "Update for Windows XP, the x64-based version" and it says during installation that it is not a valid win32
I'm desperate to get it to work. I will try the others one by one.

Super, none of them work, it tells me "not a valid Win32 application"
and another version tells me "setup cannot update your Windows XP files because the language installed on your system is different from the update language."

Update information for Windows XP Service Pack 3

Important If you install this update on a computer running the Multilingual User Interface (MUI), the user interface will switch to English.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
Download the update for the language you want to use by clicking the link earlier in this article.
decompress the patch into a folder using the command line option /x. To do this, type the following command at a command prompt: WindowsXP-KB955704-v3-x86-LanguageCode.exe /x

Note LanguageCode represents the letters in the file name that indicate the language.
When prompted to enter a target folder, select the folder and then click OK.
In the SP3QFE folder within the target folder, copy the following files to the folder nnnn %systemroot%\System32\Mui\:
      ulib.dll
      ifsutil.dll
      format.com
      fmifs.dll
      uexfat.dll
      shell32.dll
      Notes
The SP3QFE folder contains the correct binary files for Service Pack 3 systems. For Service Pack 2 systems, use the SP2QFE folder as the source instead of SP3QFE.
nnnn is a code that indicates the language. This code is the same as in the folder nnnn %systemroot%\System32\Mui\.
Repeat these steps for any other language that you use on the computer.

It's not the phone but the SD card.

Well, it could very well be the phone, depending on its version, UNLESS you tell me that you can read the card on a PC with Win 10, for example.

No, the card is visible on the phone; it wasn't on the PC, but now it's fine. Thank you anyway.

Have you tried to find the driver for your SD card reader on the DriversCloud or Touslesdrivers websites by doing the detection as I mentioned earlier?

Yes, I had done it just before finding the patch in French. It seems to have installed a driver pack but it failed at the end.
But well, it's alright, as mentioned above it finally works
      Thank you
