G5Plus Speaker V G4Plus Speaker Options

Hello all,

I have a problem with my G4 Plus speaker, I understand that it’s because the spring inside is no longer connected to the speaker so there is no sound.

The problem comes that when / if you drop the phone the spring can easily move and disconnect from the speaker and hence no sound?


Rather than try to get it repaired I was considering getting the upgraded G5 Plus as it has a couple of features that I now want for instance NFC.

However, does anyone know if the G5Plus is speaker is connected by the spring arrangement method or by separate wires?
