Physical memory overload. 90 material errors/s

Hello everyone,

I'm asking for your help because my PC is very slow following a forced Windows update while it was shutting down.

I noticed that 98% of my memory was used even though no application is open... I can no longer use the PC because it takes 5 minutes to open anything and often gives me a black screen, forcing me to turn off the PC by rebooting.

I've also noticed that there are 80 to 90 hardware errors present in the resource monitor.

How can I return to normal memory usage?

Thanks in advance
Flo

Good evening,

You're not providing any relevant information to help you… that’s also a problem for being able to respond.

What version of Windows…??
Brand of the PC…??
Model of the PC of that brand…??
98% of memory…?? how much memory is that…

Understand this well… A herd of two cows… One dies… that makes 50% of the herd whereas for a herd of 100 cows, the percentage is very different for the same loss… it’s 1%

So I have Windows 7
My PC was built by me:
- CPU I5-3470
- Power supply Fortron Raider 550W
- GPU; GTX 960 EVGA
- RAM Kingston 8GB
- HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB

And finally, 7.8 or 7.9GB out of 8GB are occupied even though I am on the desktop and nothing is open.

Important clarification, I just booted my PC in safe mode and it runs much better, with a usage of 15 to 20% on the desktop. (1.2GB out of 8GB)

Thank you

Yes, with 20% in safe mode, it clearly shows that there are programs or services running in the background...
So you look at everything that starts at the same time as Windows and delete everything that is not essential... and then restart your PC... then clear your internet browser cache... you can also check without antivirus... it can sometimes slow things down a lot...

But that's just a starting point...

For the self-built PC, you could provide the model of the motherboard...
