µtorrent: error "the specified file was not found".

Hello,
I'm starting this topic because the similar ones I found don't really address the same issue.
When I start a torrent on µtorrent, the message "the specified file is not found. (WritetoDisk)" appears in the bar where we usually see: downloading ...
I have tested several files but it keeps happening. I followed the tutorials related to the error message "the path is not found" but of course, it doesn't work because it's not the same problem.
I also uninstalled µtorrent to reinstall it and it’s still the same.
I don't know if this is due to antivirus blocking (having had some minor issues recently) or something else, but I'm not getting anywhere. If someone can help me, I would be extremely grateful.
Thanks in advance.

Try another location "Folder", which exists for downloading
EX: C:\Users\Julie\Downloads (Downloads)-
Hello and sorry for this very late response...
By choosing the Downloads location, it does indeed work.
A friend explained to me that this problem is very likely related to my SSD acting up, which even prevents me from saving personal files in folders other than Downloads.
So I'm mentioning it here in case someone finds themselves in the same situation. I'm actually going to change my computer's SSD soon to try to fix this issue.
Thank you for your help and the time you've dedicated to me.

Hi,
In Options > Preferences > Directories
Mine is: D:\DOWNLOADS
What did you put?
And you check the box "put new downloads in" (the translation might not be right, mine is in English)
Then your files will download into this directory, and to re-share them, you will have to place them in this directory.
I don't know if that will solve your issue, it would make sense for it to work.-
Hello fabul,
Thank you for your help. Here’s what I found in preferences (since there were no directories, I suppose it corresponds to folder). I added the link to the desktop.

Now my download is stuck at "Searching for peers 0.0%", but since I uninstalled and reinstalled µtorrent, there may be some configuration issues, but I'm not sure which ones.
At least I no longer have the error message, thank you.

Your initial problem seems to be resolved.
So everything that is shared is directly on the desktop.
Peer search, it looks for sources or leechers, if there is no one, then there is no one.
At the bottom right of the uTorrent window, do you have a green icon? Or an orange or red triangle? -
Do you have the file or not (are you trying to download it) on your desktop?
You can right-click > Force Recheck (I don’t know how to say that in French) -
Is uTorrent properly installed in C:\Users\Julie\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent\uTorrent.exe?
Check the properties of the shortcut to see the target.
