Hello,
I am using VirtualBox 5.2.0 r118431 on Windows 8.1 with several Windows OS as guests.
The Host key is associated with F12 because I was already using the right Ctrl key.
I have been using VirtualBox for years without any issues with the Host key.
Recently, I noticed that the "Host Deactivate" (i.e., pressing the Host key, which disables the focus capture inside the VM window, allowing Alt+TAB or Win+TAB to navigate between the windows of the host machine applications) no longer works.
By default, I don't need to press the Host key to activate: as soon as the guest window gains focus (mouse click, alt+tab), the capture of the mouse/keyboard in the host happens automatically.
Then, inside the guest, the shortcuts work perfectly (Host + F, Host + L, etc.).
I am surprised that this "Host Deactivate" function has suddenly become non-operational.
In the meantime, I have likely done an upgrade. But I can't remember if this phenomenon appeared before or after?
As a workaround, I either use Host+M in fullscreen or move the mouse out of fullscreen.
If by chance you have any idea on the matter? Thank you.
