Hello, I just received a TCL U43P6006 TV and since then, it's impossible for me to play a movie from a USB stick or a multimedia hard drive without issues. Either the video format is not supported, or the audio format is, or the movie starts but the image is choppy (image drop). I should specify that I've tested with about twenty movies (MKV, AVI, MP4...). Thank you in advance

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 57.0

    Hi,

Check the TV manual to see which audio/video formats are supported.

Hi, this is what I did and just to be sure I tested several movies and those that pass (2/10) are not watchable. I read that it might be necessary to go through a media gateway, so I borrowed a Crystal We Remixed, but it's the same as with a USB stick.

She is not connected. I cannot watch movies even from an external disk via HDMI or USB.. I had no problem with my old TV and I'm unable to find a solution... I just heard about the WD TV but I don't know anything about it.

The WD TV is simply a video player.
There are other alternatives like the Chromecast for example.
The videos do not leave the PC and are sent to the Chromecast via wifi.
You can even watch videos from YouTube.

Hello, I don't want to activate the wifi. In fact, I'm looking for a player that supports most recent audio/video formats (including DTS that it doesn't even accept..), would the WD TV solve the problem? If not, what should I add? Thanks again ;)
