Hello,
Hello,
I am reaching out to you today about a fairly common problem with the 2002 C3. A little over 7 months ago, I purchased a new car stereo for my C3 (a Philips CEM2300). Everything works perfectly, except for the radio (but that must be due to an electrical issue as it was the same with the old stereo). However, the biggest problem remains that the central locking system no longer works; for 7 months now, I have been unlocking my car manually. Until today, it hasn't bothered me. However, my door lock is starting to wear out, and I'm struggling to open my door because it's getting stuck a bit. On top of the cold weather, I'm worried that my car will be stuck, and I won't be able to get inside one morning before heading to work.
So, I did some research and heard about two wires to reverse (12V yellow-red wire...). However, I don't feel comfortable doing this out of fear of making a mistake. I read that there is an "adapter" or "interface" that can do the job at a low price. However, I have no idea what kind of adapter I need (or what it looks like), etc. Most of the topics on this subject are too old (2007 to 2010), and besides, if I'm not mistaken in my search, adapters cost around fifty euros, plus I don't know anything about cars at all...
I would like to know which adapters/interfaces I need, if you have any links to articles, and also whether these adapters are compatible with my car stereo.
Thank you in advance!

Hi
there are 2 ways to connect the power wires + .
here are the 2 ways:
it's easy to do, you remove your car radio and then you look at the wires to see if you have a red wire with a terminal and a yellow wire also with a terminal; then you swap the 2 wires.
if there is a small wire with a terminal on the red wire, you unplug the yellow wire and connect it to the terminal of the red wire.
you need to do this on the wires side of the car radio.
