Hello
I have a small issue when I overlap two objects (for example, a rectangle and a line). I would like to make it so that the overlapping part of one of the objects is erased: for instance, that all the part of the line that overlaps with the rectangle is no longer visible.
Currently, I add a white rectangle to do it, but it's not great!
Thanks in advance

I'm not an Inkscape specialist, but I think the options should be found in using the "Object/Cut" and "Object/Mask" functions...
Look at the online help for more details on these two functions...
You can also play with the order of the objects by placing one underneath the other (probably easier to do). -
Hello,
Your question is not very clear but I assume you want to do this?
To do this, select your 2 objects and Path, Difference.
