Which software to use for editing videos with .mov files?

Hello,
I would like to create a video with .MOV files
What software (free if possible, and) easy to use can import .mov files and, if possible, export to MP4 or another common format that would allow for easy playback directly from a (recent) TV.

    Good evening, I use Sony Vegas Pro. Otherwise, there is Shotcut, HitFilm

      Thank you very much, the .MOV format doesn't seem to be accepted for import by VSDC Free Video Editor (according to your link)
      I just downloaded Shotcut which seems suitable to me :-) Thank you!!!

      Thank you very much, I just downloaded Shotcut which is free and seems suitable.
      I just want to line up all the videos from my iPhone (so .MOV) one after the other in order to play just one single film, and possibly in a second phase, if I can have fun doing some actual editing, that’s a bonus!
